With over 20 years of experience mentoring, coaching, and training across Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, she brings strategic insight and practical leadership to every engagement.
Raised in a Tier 1 county in North Carolina, Shelia is deeply committed to expanding access to opportunities and empowering individuals to build sustainable goals that strengthen their professional and personal development - health and wellness, personal finances, and careers. Shelia and her team leverage structured coaching to deliver measurable outcomes in employment readiness, personal growth, and long-term stability.
Shelia holds a Certification in Life Coaching from Grand Canyon University, a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University. She also holds an ITIL® Foundation Certification in IT Service Management, and a Tivity Health Certification (Silver Sneakers®), reflecting her commitment to holistic well-being and community impact.
Her professional career covers 30 years in Finance, Telecom, Policy, Grant & Contract Management & Program development at GTE, Verizon, Frontier Communications, Cisco, State government and non-profit sectors.
Beyond her professional work, Shelia actively volunteers in initiatives that strengthen and uplift local communities — reflecting her belief that success is most meaningful when it creates opportunity for others. At its core, Success Life Coaching is about transformation — helping people build sustainable goals, strengthen confidence, and create forward movement that lasts. She also enjoys photography and traveling.

They bring extensive experience supporting justice-involved individuals and those navigating reentry transitions as well.

Our educators contribute instructional expertise and practical insight that strengthen training, skill development, and learning experiences across our programs - which includes technology, digital literacy and financial expertise.
